Bruno Soares joined EDC in 2016. As a Senior Relationship Manager in the Montreal Technology Team, he manages a portfolio of 30 Technology companies with annual sales up to CAD 300M. He comes from a banking background with over 15 years of experience, including assistant manager for the Compliance Team at HSBC Bank Canada and assistant manager for a commercial team at Bank Montepio in Portugal, dealing with a targeted clientele of exporting companies in the molding and plastic industries. Bruno is a native of Portugal. He earned his degree in Business Administration in 2005 from ISLA University, Portugal. Later in 2011 he completed two Post Graduation degrees, Management Control & Corporate Finance and Accounting &Tax at ISEG Executive Education in Lisbon.Bruno has built his professional career on the same principles which guide his personal life, relationship building, curiosity, love of constant learning and the energetic pursuit of his goals and meeting new people.
