Bio: Marek Kościelski is currently a Laboratory Manager at Łukasiewicz Research Network- Tele- and Radio Research Institute (Ł-ITR). He joint Ł-ITR in 2004 after the graduated from Warsaw Technical University from Chemistry Department. He at first conducted research in the field of soldering fluxes in the variety of them used as soldering pastes, solid for core wires and liquids as a junior researcher. He also lead at that time a project on VOC-free flux for selective soldering as an environment friendly alternative to the highly organic content ones.
In recent years his interested shifted towards reliability of assembled boards especially of the lead-free joints. Marek leads a laboratory were on a daily basis the laboratory performs process validation for automotive industry. He also leads a projects for ESA on the use of lead-free solders in the space domain.
Marek has participated in many project funded from domestic funds as well as Europeans. He authors and co-authors several peer-reviewed articles as well as patents.
