Taming Paper for Printed Electronics

Tricia Breen Carmichael is a Professor at the University of Windsor. Prior to her faculty position, she was a Research Staff Member in organic electronics the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York. She leads an interdisciplinary research program on wearable and printed electronics. She has published influential papers on textile-based wearable electronics, stretchable light-emitting devices, and paper-based printed electronics. Dr. Carmichael is the co-director of the NSERC Green Electronics Network, a national strategic network focused on printing methods for smart packaging. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Flexible and Printed Electronics (Institute of Physics).
