Virtual Networking
Join us for a comprehensive and engaging day dedicated to networking, exploring screen printing innovations, and discussing the future of In-Mold Electronics. This event offers three distinct activities designed to expand your knowledge and foster meaningful connections:
Networking: Participate in a 1.5-hour round-robin speed dating session, where you'll engage in 6-minute one-on-one video conversations with another randmoly-assigned attendee before moving on to the next person. This effective approach allows you to meet potential partners and establish lasting relationships, all in a short span of time
Screen Printing Discussion: Screen printing remains the industry's indispensable tool with a wide array of applications. It has often been tagged as the technology of yesterday, however, innovations have continued, always surpassing perceived technological limitations and keeping the technology essential and relevant.
Discover the latest advancements in ink/paste formulation, finer meshes, novel laser-cut emulsions, and state-of-the-art machines. Simultaneously, explore the expanding application space and the challenges of fineline printing, of educating next generation of skilled operators, and of lowering adoption barriers for design and prototyping.
Attend insightful talks and actively engage with our panel of experts to discuss current issues and develop solutions. After all, screen printing is a team sport.

[Panelist | InMold Electronics] - “Bonding of electronic components for injection molding electronics processes
More Details
2:21PM
Robert Boks
Director Global Business Development
During the last years more and more attention is given to so called injection molded electronic (IME) components. It saves weight, decreases the number of parts, contributes to the automotive interior lighting trend and even has a much lower CO2 footprint.
The whole production process starts with a foil onto which components must be electrically contacted by conductive adhesives. Soldering is no option as the melting temperature of solder paste conflicts with the temperature resistance of for example PC or PMMA foils. This is where adhesive technology comes into the game; low temperature curing is the right track – flexible electrically conductive materials are nice to have and curing speed is relevant as injection molding is one of the following steps in the production process.
Having over 10 years of experience on adhesive development for this industry, I am excited that Techblick offers a platform for learning and discussions. I see this as a great step towards their live event “the future of electronics” in Berlin later this year.

Peter Andersson Ersman
Senior Scientist, Project Manager
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden develops a broad range of printed electronic components and systems on flexible substrates, most often by solely using screen printing for the deposition of the materials. Electrochromic displays, organic electrochemical transistors and sensors are all examples of components in which improved performance and high manufacturing yield recently have been demonstrated, thereby allowing for further utilization within flexible electronics upon system integration. The presentation provides an overview of this development: device architectures, materials, screen printing processes, system integration, device characterization and application areas.
